LAKE MARY, FL (May 30, 2018) — Power Grid Engineering, LLC (PGE) has recently donated 17 laptops to Geneva School and more donations are in progress to Clearwater High School as well as other non-profit organizations to support the future-minds of our industry.
As a company policy, PGE replaces desktop computers and laptops on an ongoing basis to ensure employees have most up-to-date technology needed to perform their jobs efficiently. During this process, they asses and reimage retired computers in an effort to benefit the schools and organizations in need.
“We’re glad to partner with schools and non-profits to support our community. Through these computer donations, we hope to provide a tool for success for students while supporting our Corporate Social Responsibility program,” said Andre Uribe, Co-founder at PGE.
“These computers will benefit our classrooms. Some of the laptops will be used for students who don’t have access to computers due to economic hardship, some classrooms in need as well as faculty members,” said David Petrak, Director of Technology at Geneva School.
PGE continues to research non-profits in need in Florida to provide more desktop and laptop computers.
